Going on a Safari

As most of you already know, Pennington's room theme is jungle. Living in a jungle means that sometimes you go on a Safari. Below are pictures of Pennington on his first Safari.

First Bath

Below are photos of Pennington's first bath. Honestly, he really enjoyed it. At least he didn't cry as much as some babies do. His second bath he didn't even cry.

Going Home

Child Birth Class

All soon-to-be new parents are encouraged to go to a Child Birth Class. Johnny and Jesikah decided that it sounded like a pretty good idea to attend the class seeing as how they really have no idea what to expect.

The most memorable part of the class for Johnny was getting to wear the pregnant belly suit. The suit is 35 pounds and has this ball that sits on your bladder to make you feel like you have to go to the bathroom. The suit gave Johnny a good idea of what it must feel like to be pregnant Jesikah. See the picture below.

The most memorable part of the class for Jesikah was the fact that all the women talked about how they were terrified to leave their husbands alone with the baby. Jesikah on the other hand is totally comfortable leaving the baby with Johnny. In fact, she feels safer leaving the baby with Johnny than taking care of it by herself.

Diaper Bash

A few months ago while Johnny was doing his clinical's he heard from one of his co-workers about this idea to have a Man Baby Shower were the guys bring diapers in exchange for a keg cup. Obviously Johnny thought this was a wonderful idea and decided to call his man baby shower the "Diaper Bash". The Diaper Bash was originally suppose to be just for the boys but Johnny decided to invite the girls too. In exchange for bringing diapers to the Diaper Bash you were given a keg cup and a plate for food. Additionally, we had a Badminton Tournament which everyone thought was a blast. Below are some photos of the Diaper Bash.
