Cabin Time - June 2014

This summer I am trying to get the kids up to the cabin as much as possible. I want them to get out on the boat, swim in the lake, go hiking and mountain biking. I don't think summers get much better than spending quality time at the cabin.

Boise Urban Garden School

For our friend Lucy Spiess 6th birthday we were invited to a party at Boise Urban Garden School. What a great experience for the kids. Lots of crafts, digging in the dirt and catching butterflies.

 

All Comers Meet

The kids love going down to the Timberline track on Thursday nights to run in the All Comers Meet put on by the YMCA. The kids are pretty good at racing. Second place for both of them in there age group (3 year old girls and 4 year old boys).

Library Ambassadors

In the winter I signed our family up to be Library Ambassadors which means you promote the Boise Public Library. In return we got our names on the windows.

 

Boise School of Rock

For Henry Neil's (Pennington's buddy at school) Birthday the kids got to go to Boise School of Rock and learn how to play a few instruments and jam as a band. Below is a picture of Pennington playing the guitar.

Pennington - Nationals Soccer

This Spring we started Pennington out on playing recreational club soccer with the Boise Nationals. Johnny was his coach. Below are some pictures from his games.

Ballet

Piper started Ballet in January and loves it. All of her besties are in the class as well. Below is a picture of Piper in our ballet recital outfit. They did 2 dances. One about clouds and one about spiders.
