Mommy and Pennington took a four day three night trip to the cabin and most amazing thing happened, IT SNOWED!!! For those of you that don't live in Idaho this is one of the earliest snow falls ever. Also, while we were at the cabin Pennington rolled over from his tummy to his back for the first time (twice in a row so Mommy definitely knows it was not a fluke. However he hasn't done it again since we got back from the cabin).
Mommy and Pennington also had another play date with Avery and Becca but this time it was at Starbucks because it was super crummy outside. Pennington really liked Starbucks. He spend most of the time looking around and sleeping in Mommy's lap. Both Mommies were super impressed with how well behaved their little ones were. 
Daddy reading to Pennington. Pennington doesn't really pay attention when Mommy reads but when Daddy reads he looks so interested. He even tried to read the story himself. He was cooing the whole time.
It is official. Pennington can smile now. We have three different pictures to prove it. Mommy is thinking that he waited to smile until he wore his Leo onesie for the first time. Since Pennington was born on August 11th he is a Leo. The onesie says born leader (hence our decision to call him Pennington which we think sounds Presidential) and loves the limelight (reason Mommy thinks he waited to smile until he wore it).
So happy you got your smiles! Maggie's a Leo too! I hear they are the toughest to raise, but the most fun!
